When working on the design, the team paid special attention to expressing an updated image of Aquilia via logo and brand zones. They had to be easy to read, visible, and recognizable. This is how a logo with large lettering and a plate with natural design came to life. Thanks to the new package the brand will be clearly distinguishable on the shelf.
A transparent label together with the image of a wood and clouds reflecting on the waters of a lake gives the feeling of naturalness. The water has a unique 4-component mineral composition and comes from a one-of-a-kind spring. This is an important USP in the product’s positioning.
Being a low-mineral product, Aquilia can be consumed on a daily basis. We tried to convey the idea of its mineral lightness through a visual effect of a sound track. The tops of the trees in the image form a rhythmic pattern. This is visualized echo— and echo that can only be heard on an open plane with a lot of air. All together these elements showcase the water as a healthy product that does not make your body heavy with minerals. Aquilia is unique because it contains sodium, magnesium, chloride, and calcium at the same time. Their effect on one’s health is described with bright and positive infographics. The image of a spring that comes from the ground emphasizes the naturalness of the water.
This natural effect is achieved not only through the label, but also thanks to the light-blue plastic of the bottle and its layered shape. The layers symbolize the soil that the water comes through before springing from underground. Colour codes are used to differentiate two types of water: sparkling water has a red label to indicate activity, and still water features a green one that is associated with calmness.
