Barista is a Belarusian brand that specializes in medium-priced whole-bean and ground coffee. When the company decided to add a new category of instant coffee to its product range, the task turned out to be quite difficult, as the main market share was already taken by major players such as Jacobs, Nescafe, and Tchibo. The company had to present its product to the customers in a recognizable way that would differentiate it from the competitors.

Fabula Branding developed a laconic modern-looking package design based on the turquoise background color that is unusual for this product category. Thanks to this approach the product received a memorable image that made it stand out on the shelf.

The image of a cup is shown from the same perspective as on the packages of other Barista products, preserving the recognizability of the brand. The composition looks balanced thanks to a spoon and coffee beans. Together, these images invoke pleasant associations with brewing a flavorful drink. The solution is visually clean which helps form a brand wall on the shelf.
